So we have officially moved into our new house! Eric, being the fast pace moving person he is, rounded up some people and went ahead and painted the kitchen and bed room. I had to work. Want to say thank you to Our mom's, Ian Allan, and the Maranos for coming and helping paint since I had to work. I am glad we didn't have to do it all alone. We are for the most part in working order. There are a few more boxes that still need to be unpacked and a few things at the apartment. I think what is going to stink the most is cleaning the whole house and cleaning the whole apartment...while working.
Eric couldn't resist. He already started hanging things on the wall. I promise I will post some pictures soon.
Today is Fathers day! I would like to say Happy Fathers Day to my father. He will probably never read this, but thats ok. I also want to say happy fathers day to my father figures. Being that I lived most of my childhood and all of my adult life away from my father he wasnt always there to show me much or do anything. It used to make me so angry when, there was something wrong with my car, and people would say "go home and tell your father too..." I would have to respond with "he can't. " Or the father daughter dances we had very year in girl scouts. But I was one of the lucky ones without a father. I had wonderful godly men around me from a young age who taught me what it means to be a husband and father. So when I was looking for a partner, I instinctively knew what to look for. When I had a flat tire, or my car broke down, or when my mother was petrified to put me in a car at 15, or anything that you needed a dad for. Even though I wasn't able to have my real on around I had the best examples possible. I thank them for treating me as one of their own. I think they know who hey are. =) Now I should probably go call my father.....Happy Fathers Day!'
