Ask and you shall......

RECEIVE!!!! Of course as long as its in his will. We have been praying practically all summer (maybe even longer then that) for Eric to find a job. Eric has been going once a week putting in applications and trying to meet with principals with basically no luck. I was pretty much prepared to not start this school year with a job (listen to me....I am talking like I am the one trying to find a job....but we are in this together....so it is kinda like I am looking for a job too), and I had become okay with that. If thats what was meant for us, then I would accept it. But we kept praying.

  If you dont already know teaching jobs in muscogee county are VERY difficult to come by.  Plus, as if it wasn't already hard enough, they cut the K4 day in half, causing a pay cut for all the K4 teachers in the area. This, in-turn, cause a lot of those teachers to take most of the available teaching jobs away because they typically hire within before hiring someone new. SOOO....every job that has come up has been a K4 position....breath... Its a complete domino effect.
Nothing is for sure, nothing is positive, But doors have opened and we are gladly walking through them!
Plus Eric won a grant from Ga power  for $1,000 for his class room. What a blessing!! I was worried about that the most because I know that stuff for a classroom is not cheep! Now if I can get him to go with a theme.....He hasn't liked any I have come up with yet. =)

Dog and Cat are tolerating each other. They have met without barking or hissing. PTL!! It only took a week. I thought on Ellie's part, because she is so antisocial, that is would take months. But she came out and initiated on her own. I thought it would be soo much worse then it was. Everyone said they would be fine.....and they are.  Honestly, Knox just wants to play with her.....But he doesn't know who he is messing with. Ellie doesn't play, and if she does its on her terms.....She is a little diva.
We have been a few days without accidents in the house too!! Until this morning....but it was kinda my fault.

I have been off for over a week now. It has been great! Its not the beach trip I had hoped for....but it was a break. I was not bored in the slightest bit and I didn't spend a ton of money!!! Well I spent a little, but Eric owed me =).
